T.R. |
|
T.R. plays great rock 'n 'roll. He has also been known to put a brown mop on his head and sing a reggae version of the Gilligan's Island theme, getting the audience to shout things like "Day-Oh! Day-Oh!... Day-Old Bread!" Or there was the time that he led a whole audience out into the parking lot to paint psychedelic designs on his tour van. He specializes in Sing-a-Longs and Dance music, does a 2-minute version of an entire Rolling Stones concert, and transforms into "Daryl," an obnoxious rhinestone cowboy for a rowdy set of twisted Country classics. Once T.R. gets going, it's likely to be four or five hours before he takes a break. "In days of old when knights were bold, T.R. would have been a traveling troubadour... He's... solo, self-contained, talented and most of all, very funny." - Woody Wilson , The Phoenix Gazette "You really like him - you really, really like him." "...T.R. may be the finest lounge performer in Las Vegas... blends old time rock 'n' roll with comedy to produce one of the finest one-man lounge acts currently playing in town." "...this ain't no ordinary singer ...It's the one and only T.R. ... (a) musical maniac who can crack lyrics and quips like a tightly coiled whip." - Ron Gluckman , Anchorage Times |
